Grandma Rogers Cinnamon Rolls

1/3 cup warm water
1 T sugar
2 yeast

Step 1: combine water yeast and sugar

6 T vegetable oil
1/2 c sugar
1 t salt

Step 2: Mix oil sugar and salt in large bowl

1 c scalded milk
1 cup cold water
3 eggs beaten
7 cups flour

1 cube butter
Sugar and cinnamon
Nuts and/or raisins if desired

3: Add milk and cold water to oil mixture.
4: Mix in 3 cups flour with electric mixer
5: Add eggs, yeast mixture, and 3 more cups of flour. Mix well. Turn out onto counter and need in the last cup of flour.  Let raise.
6: Heat oven to 400 degrees
7: Divide dough. Roll out. Melt butter and use half on rolled out dough. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up, cut and place on cookie sheet.
8: Let raise again, for about 15 min.
9: bake for 10 min or until lightly golden.

Frost with frosting as soon as they come out of the oven:

3 cups powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
Milk

Mix with fork until runny consistency.
